After testing for more than a year, we are pleased to release the first beta batch of our thick card scraper! Made from 3/32” O-1 tool steel, these scrapers measure 3-3/8” by 2-1/8” which is the size of a credit card, only much thicker. A scraper cuts with a burr turned on a square edge, and is useful for smoothing a wide variety of shapes from flat to hollow. Spoon and bowl carvers, chairmakers, decoy carvers, luthiers, and boat builders will all find this tool very useful.
