Flat Adze
This small flat adze is forged from solid 4150 alloy steel. It has a hand crafted hickory handle, finished with a penetrating oil/varnish mix. Handles are 9"-10" long. The flat blade has a slight curve for ease of use and sharpening. This adze is preferred by some carvers for working the outside of bowls. Blades are approximately 1 3/4" - 2" across. Overall weight varies between 24 - 27 oz.
