The hand crafted tiger maple handle is 10" long, and is slimmer than our standard carving axe; perfect for smaller hands. Overall weight is just under 1-1/2 pounds. Made from heavy vegetable tanned leather, these sheaths feature a heavy welt to protect the stitching. A brass snap fastens the sheath in place. This is high quality edge protection for a high quality tool. These sheaths fit my small spoon carving axe. Brown color varies. These are the updated version for our new spoon axe.
